After showing Toy Fox Terriers for a couple of years, Susan and her friend Barbara Benesh started looking for a nice male dog to show and later stand at stud. "We researched many bloodlines and decided that the gene pool in California was rather small," said Susan. That led to going further afield. When we saw the fine breeding program that Eliza Hopkins had instituted, we knew we had found what we were looking for. Eliza told us she had 3 nice male pups, but she really liked one of them. She knew that we were intending to show and breed and we decided to let her choose for us. We could not have made a better choice. "Jack" arrived when he was about 4 months old and has been our pride and joy ever since. Susan started showing him at 6 months of age and he was a Champion before his 7-month birthday. He has since achieved his Grand Champion title and is siring small, typey pups. With limited breedings he has 3 Champion offspring. "Jack" is co-owned with Barbara Benesh of Serendipity Toy Fox Terriers.
